Tecan divests Remp to Nexus
Five years on from buying sample management expert Remp AG for approximately $75.5 million, Tecan Group Ltd (Männedorf, Switzerland), in what almost feels like admitting defeat, has sold the business unit to NEXUS Biosystems Inc (Poway, CA), a developer of automatic sample management systems, for CHF12 million ($10.6 million at CHF1.13 = $1) and additional payments between $4.4 million and $7.7 million
